Comfrey is also called "bone-knit" in old-world lore. Traditionally used to heal broken bones and promote cell regeneration, this herb has been shown to shorten the healing time for injuries large and small, help with wrinkles, inflammation, arthritis, and achy joints or ligaments*
Ingredients: Local Comfrey (Symphytum x uplandicum), water, grain alcohol
(45% alcohol by volume. 1:5 herb:menstrum ratio)
Suggested use: Shake well before using. Allow alcohol to evaporate in a small amount of warm water, and apply externally as a poultice as needed.
Precautions: Allow alcohol to evaporate before using on broken skin. Due to the presence of pyrrolizidine alkaloids in comfrey, this tincture is not recommended for internal use unless prescribed by a health care practitioner.
