Calendula, Resina Seed

Regular price $4.00 Sale

Calendula, Resina Seed (Calendula officinalis), packet of approximately 50 seeds.

Calendula is a wonderful plant whose flowers are used traditionally for healing skin, eyes, digestion, and infection. Originally from organic, non-GMO seed stock, this calendula seed was grown and collected on our farm, and is the same type we use in our salves and tea blends. As a garden flower, it attracts beneficial insects and feeds pollinators as well as sporting a lively array of orange or yellow flowers. A plant may be kept flowering all season if older flowers are pinched off.

Planting instructions: Sow seeds 1/4" to 1/2" deep, about 8-12 inches apart. Keep soil moist until germination. Plant no more than 3 weeks before average last frost, or start inside up to 5 weeks earlier and transplant outside after last frost.
