Elderberry is a potent immune-supporting herb, and grows wild in the mountains around Salmon. The small blue-black berries are food for birds and wildlife, and when cooked or extracted, make some of the most widely used remedies for colds, cough, flu, and wintertime ailments. Useful as general immune system support or acutely at the first sign of illness.* For a sweeter option that may be more useful for soothing coughs and young children, try our Elderberry Syrup!
